What we collect

When you subscribe, we collect your email address and which page you signed up from. That's it. We use it only to send you Hey Johns Island and the occasional message about it.

This website uses Google Tag Manager to run measurement tools such as Google Analytics. They use cookies to count visits and to see which pages get read and how people found them. We look at those totals to decide what to cover, not to identify anyone.

Who handles it

Our newsletter is sent through beehiiv, which stores subscriber addresses and measures opens and clicks so we know what's useful. This website is hosted onNetlify, which keeps standard server logs. Google runs Tag Manager and Analytics under its privacy policy.

What we don't do

• We don't sell, rent or share your email address.
• Sponsors never receive subscriber lists.
• This website doesn't use advertising cookies.
